Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through inorganic and organic strategic initiatives, including digital health and emerging technologies. The role involves regular interaction with management teams and frequent travel to the Lake Zurich, IL HQ, with priority given to local candidates.

100% remote work is possible with monthly in-person travel. Strong financial acumen, healthcare experience, and a proven ability to navigate a complex matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in BD, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Successful track record in a complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; travel up to 15% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal corporate portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Oversee strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to negotiation and execution.
