Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through organic and inorganic strategic initiatives, including digital health and emerging technologies. The role involves regular interaction with management and cross-functional teams, with travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BD/M&A/Strategy with healthcare experience, strong financial acumen, and MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution for inorganic opportunities.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants, brokers and investment banks.
