Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of the corporate portfolio through strategic projects, including digital health and emerging technologies. The role interfaces with senior management and requires strong financial acumen and cross-functional leadership.

The position supports inorganic growth via due diligence, business case development, and board approvals, with travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters and some international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable thriving in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups and identify targets for inorganic growth with focus on nutrition, MedTech and biopharmaceuticals.
• Lead project management with functional leads, regional heads and global teams to deliver corporate projects via due diligence, business cases, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management alignment and prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal corporate portfolio analysis and recommend new business areas, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities from identification to negotiation and execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver corporate projects through diligence, business cases and approvals.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to consultants, brokers, principals and banks.
• Use market insights to inform strategy and future direction of the business.
