Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager of Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth in its corporate portfolio through strategic projects, including inorganic opportunities and new business development like digital health and emerging technologies. The role involves leading due diligence, business case development, and interfacing with global teams.

Regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL is expected, with remote work possible for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required. MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align on inorganic targets and prioritization.
• Manage corporate portfolio analysis, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling.
