Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through organic and inorganic strategies, digital health initiatives, and new business development with regular interaction with management teams. Local candidates are prioritized for a role that may be worked remotely with travel to our Lake Zurich, IL HQ.

The position requires a scientific/technical/finance background, 5+ years in relevant roles, strong financial acumen, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in BD/M&A/Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a complex, matrix organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsabilités

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius' business areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead project management with functional leads, regional heads, and cross-functional teams from due diligence to board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage strategic portfolio analysis and evaluate new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses.
• Handle inorganic opportunities through all phases from identification to negotiation and execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver on corporate projects and support board approvals.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces such as consultants and investment banks.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future direction of the business.
