Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst in San Francisco at the Corporate Development team, hybrid with three days in the office. The role focuses on M&A strategy and execution across acquisitions and minority investments.

You will build financial models, run valuations, perform due diligence, and present insights to senior leaders while collaborating with product and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or strategic finance in the technology industry
• Experience with M&A transactions within the technology sector
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience; evaluated on Values & Behaviors for the role

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of acquisitions and strategic minority investments, including market landscapes, financial and valuation analyses, financial modeling, and due diligence coordination
• Evaluate potential inbound M&A opportunities against strategic priorities and socialize internally
• Collaborate with product teams to develop build/buy/partner analyses and strategic investment themes
• Assist in market, industry, and company research to influence decision-making and identify targets
• Support special projects and presentations for senior executives
• Build trust with internal stakeholders and manage deal updates through execution
• Manage the M&A pipeline and Corporate Development systems and tools
