Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst for Corporate Development in San Francisco. You will support all facets of M&A, including benchmarking, target evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution, working with senior team members to drive inorganic growth.

The role requires 1+ years in corporate M&A or related fields, strong modeling, and executive communication. Hybrid role with three days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or strategic finance in the technology industry.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Evaluation based on Values & Behaviors.
• Experience working on M&A transactions within the technology sector.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of acquisitions and strategic minority investments, including market landscape analyses, financial modeling, and due diligence.
• Evaluate inbound M&A opportunities against strategic priorities and socialize opportunities internally.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand gaps and develop investment themes for M&A and minority investments.
• Assist in market, industry, and company research to influence decision-making and identify targets.
• Support special projects and presentations for senior executives.
• Build trust with cross-functional stakeholders and manage deal updates throughout execution.
• Manage the M&A pipeline and internal Corporate Development tools.
