Job summary

Stevens Transport INC. is seeking a National Logistics Account Manager to ensure truckload coverage for customer-awarded freight and to secure additional opportunities.

You will be the single point of contact for assigned customers, balance capacity with internal teams, and drive growth while preserving service quality. Responsibilities include tracking shipments to achieve 95% on-time performance, negotiating opportunities, and overseeing bookings and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business development, sales, or transportation operations.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound/outbound emails and capacity planning.
• Extremely organized with multi-stop deliveries.
• Deadline-driven with shifting priorities.
• Experience serving multi-million-dollar accounts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for the assigned customer base and build relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to balance capacity and freight.
• Solicit additional freight opportunities to reduce empty miles.
• Research and remedy service issues daily.
• Track shipments and maintain on-time performance 95%+.
• Relay excess load availability to Brokerage and Rail divisions.
• Review EDI data for accuracy before verifications to customers.
• Oversee internal activities impacting service obligations.
• Maintain key carrier performance indicators.
• Manage bookings and resolve delays, billing, etc.
