Job summary

Medidata Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Associate Client Executive to drive sales growth and client success at a major account. You will develop strategic plans, coordinate resources, and maintain high customer satisfaction in line with Medidata practices.

You will report to the Managing Partner of Global Enterprise Sales and work to exceed revenue targets while representing Medidata with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Requires successful relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of life sciences industry including R&D, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT functions.
• Demonstrated track record as a trusted advisor within large accounts.
• Consultative approach to drive client outcomes.
• Proven ability to exceed sales and account targets.
• Ability to gain executive credibility and navigate organizational dynamics.
• Demonstrated tenacity and drive to achieve goals.
• Strong business planning and organizational skills.
• Solid experience with application software.
• Experience with process-driven selling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts.
• Consistently attain revenue and booking targets within the territory.
• Represent Medidata in alignment with company principles and ethics.
• Coordinate resources across sales and other departments to meet objectives.
• Maintain and update account and opportunity data in Salesforce.com.
• Note: quarterly/annual targets are documented separately.
