Job summary

The Baldwin Group is seeking a Commercial Risk Client Executive in Philadelphia to manage and service complex commercial accounts at a strategic level. You will develop consultative client relationships, educate on coverage options, lead marketplace submissions, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional service and outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in commercial insurance, strong risk analysis, and relevant designations; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Active state insurance license(s) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience reviewing, placing, and negotiating loss-sensitive placements, incl. captive structures.
• Preferred industry specialization such as Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Wholesale Trade, etc.
• Designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and retains large, complex commercial clients through deep understanding of risk and insurance architecture.
• Develops trusted partnerships with insurance company partners and broker representatives.
• Leads renewal discussions with coverage, pricing, and loss picks.
• Prepares complex marketplace submissions with loss picks and endorsements.
• Coordinates the client team to exceed service standards and deliverables.
• Assesses audits for accuracy between client and insurance partner audit teams.
• Applies data and agency systems to support renewal strategy and records.
• Builds trusting relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and firm leaders.
• Shares insurance expertise to advise and train colleagues.
