Origin Bank seeks a seasoned Business Underwriter to assess loan requests up to $3 million, conducting DSC analysis and thorough financial reviews in a collaborative, bank-wide environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of underwriting experience, with strong Excel/Word skills and a solid understanding of lending policies. On-site position in a professional banking setting with growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and minimum five years’ experience as a business underwriter, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; write reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong working knowledge of Origin Bank Lending Policy to properly decision loan applications.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates loan applications up to $3 million for business purposes.
• Analyzes income and debt levels to determine Debt Service Coverage (DSC) ratios.
• Spreads and analyzes financial statements and tax returns for loan requests.
• Prepares company cash flows, global cash flows, financial analysis, and collateral valuations.
• Reviews and interprets financial data using trend and ratio analysis for larger/complex credits.
• Decides loan applications for approval, conditional approval, or denial.
• Assesses individual or business credit scores and payment histories.
• Provides guidance on loan policy, collateral, covenants, and monitoring requirements.
• Maintains relationships with lenders, loan assistants, and staff.
