Job summary

Harvey AI is seeking a Corporate Business Development Manager, Legal Data to lead strategic partnerships in legal content and data. You will identify, evaluate, and secure partnerships with content and data providers, negotiate licenses, and drive integration with product and GTM teams.

You will collaborate across disciplines, manage complex counts, and maintain strong relationships with partners while advancing Harvey's AI-driven knowledge-work platform.

Qualifications

• You practiced law in the United States or helped build the tools lawyers use.
• Strong preference for litigators with fluency in the legal research corpus.
• Experience collaborating with product teams to develop and distribute technology solutions.
• Proven ability to develop executive relationships and negotiate complex contracts.
• Team player who collaborates across Product, Legal, GTM to achieve goals.
• Demonstrated passion for Harvey's mission and AI's potential in knowledge work.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for legal content and data partnerships.
• Independently identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with legal content and data providers.
• Assess corpora for jurisdictional coverage, depth, updates, metadata quality, and rights.
• Negotiate licensing agreements that align with company goals.
• Conduct quantitative analysis and present business cases to executives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, legal and GTM teams to integrate new content sources.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key partners.
