Job summary

Harvey in San Francisco is expanding its Business Development team to secure strategic legal content and data partnerships. You will source, evaluate, and negotiate access to primary and secondary sources, and shepherd deals from initial outreach through integration into our AI-powered products.

Qualifications

• Qualified attorney with US practice or hands-on experience in legal tooling.
• Proven ability to develop executive relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Experience collaborating with product, legal and GTM teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for legal content partnerships.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with content providers.
• Assess corpus quality: coverage, depth, cadence, metadata, and rights.
• Negotiate licensing agreements aligned with company goals.
• Prepare business cases and present to executives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, legal and GTM to integrate sources.
• Build long-term relationships with key partners for mutual success.
• Operate autonomously and maintain Harvey pace.
