Diamondback E&P LLC is seeking a Leave Specialist to administer FMLA, ADA, and leave programs companywide. You will guide employees and managers through intake through return to work, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

You will coordinate ADA accommodations, medical documentation, and return-to-work plans, while tracking restrictions and notices. Strong communication and discretion are essential in this role at Diamondback in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-5 years of experience administering FMLA/ADA or leave programs.
• Knowledge of federal and state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, workers' compensation, state statutes).
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to explain complex processes clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer all leave programs (FMLA, ADA, personal, medical, parental, military, state leaves).
• Manage ADA interactive process: gather medical documentation, identify accommodations, coordinate with managers.
• Facilitate return-to-work processes: fitness-for-duty, transitional duty, accommodations.
• Monitor restrictions and follow-up dates; ensure proper clearance before full duty.
• Escalate complex ADA cases to Director of Compliance & Employee Engagement.
• Serve as HR liaison for workers' compensation with Legal Dept.
• Track work status, restrictions, and return-to-work updates.
• Ensure alignment of workers' comp, ADA, and FMLA requirements.
• Maintain compliant leave files; ensure notices and documentation meet standards.
• Monitor state/federal leave law changes and update processes accordingly.
• Educate managers on leave processes, timelines, and responsibilities.
