Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Mid-Level Lease Analyst to manage lifecycle administration of ROWs, leases, and facility contracts in Houston. The role focuses on data extraction, contract compliance, and financial obligations, serving as the data owner within land management systems to protect pipeline assets.

The candidate will maintain records, review title documents, manage payment calendars, and coordinate with Land, Accounting, Legal, Records, and Commercial teams to ensure policy compliance

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of land management documents, surface leases, easements, and state oil and gas regulations.
• Advanced skills in land management databases such as Quorum, BOLO, or SAP.
• Ability to calculate working interest, net revenue interest, and acreage prorations.
• High level of precision to review historical county records and verify asset boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Abstract and input data: extract clauses, financial terms, and obligations from rights-of-way and leases into land software.
• Maintain database integrity for holdings, pipeline ownership percentages, and tracts.
• Review title records to verify ownership and proper chain of title along pipelines.
• Manage monthly payment calendars for rentals, ROW renewals, damage claims, and CPI escalations.
• Daily payment approvals: review acquisition packages and approve compensation.
• Review expense claims and CPI rent escalations against contract terms.
• Monitor expirations and notify landmen of field actions to avoid disruptions.
• Execute payment cycles and verify recurring rentals, renewals, and escalations in Quorum.
• Track contract expirations and option windows for timely actions.
• Resolve title discrepancies and ownership gaps along the pipeline corridor.
• Support cross-functional teams in land, accounting, legal, records, and commercial divisions.
• Create customized pipeline asset status and regulatory compliance reports.
