This position maintains accurate land records, administers lease obligations, supports acquisitions and divestitures, and works closely with Land, Accounting, and other departments.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain lease, contract, title, and land-related data in LandworksRecord, set up and maintain oil and gas leases, deeds, assignments, JOAs, rights-of-way, ONRR documents, and other agreements when applicableReview leases, title opinions, deeds, and related documents to ensure accurate ownership and acreage records, including gross and net acreage, and depth severancesAdminister lease payment and other contractual obligations and review monthly obligation reportsMonitor lease expirations and communicate upcoming obligations to appropriate departmentsMaintain acquisition and divestiture records and process related documentationPrepare acreage reports, schedules, exhibits, and other Land-related reportsMaintain and upload Land documents in Dynamic DocsResearch and coordinate special projects related to lease, contract, and land recordsProvide support to the Land Manager and perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Energy Management, or a related field preferredMinimum 5 years of oil and gas industry experience, preferably in Land or Lease AdministrationCPLTA certification through NALTA preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordExperience with Landworks, Dynamic Docs, or similar systems preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departmentsAbility to interpret leases, title opinions, contracts, and other land-related documents
