Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Consultant in the Discover pillar of Learning & Development. You will own a portfolio of business relationships and learning initiatives, acting as the trusted advisor for assigned partners, and lead discovery to frame business problems and success criteria.

You will define success, connect recommendations to KPIs, and orchestrate a blend of learning, performance support, and process changes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong consulting skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with business partners and mid-to-senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct gap analysis, frame business problems, and distinguish learning needs from broader performance, process, or change needs.
• Business acumen and metrics orientation, including the ability to connect recommendations to KPIs and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of business relationships and learning initiatives, serving as trusted advisor for assigned partners.
• Lead structured intake and discovery to clarify context, constraints, outcomes, risks, and success criteria.
• Frame real business problems, perform gap analysis, and challenge assumptions on learning as the right solution.
• Define success metrics and connect learning recommendations to business KPIs and financial outcomes.
• Recommend a blend of learning, performance support, and process change when broader solutions are needed.
• Prioritize initiatives in the portfolio and decide sequencing with supporting evidence.
• Coordinate with leadership to align portfolio decisions to enterprise priorities and capacity.
• Collaborate with Enable to use data and insights to demonstrate business value.
• Coordinate with Design, Deliver, and Enable teams to shape work while maintaining business alignment.
