Job summary

Axiom Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead assessment, design, and evaluation of learning initiatives that boost employee performance, leadership capability, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with HR, Compliance, and clinical leadership to identify needs, develop engaging programs for in-person and virtual formats, and manage training records in Relias. This role emphasizes data-driven delivery and onboarding to support organizational excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for multiple levels.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills in person and virtual settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional delivery.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Experience using Relias or other LMS to assign, track, and report training.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs with HR, Compliance, leadership, and SMEs.
• Conduct needs assessments and competency reviews to support development and compliance.
• Design, develop, revise, and deliver training resources using best practices.
• Facilitate in-person, virtual, and blended sessions for diverse employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and state-mandated training requirements.
• Maintain training records and generate compliance reports.
• Collaborate with leaders on behavioral health training topics and CBT basics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using attendance, feedback, and metrics.
• Keep content updated with policies, accreditation standards, and priorities.
• Travel to Axiom Care locations for training events as needed.
• Support leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
