Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a Learning & Development professional to deliver education and training across districts, blending virtual and in-person sessions. You will consult with business partners to identify needs, prescribe training materials, and partner with instructional designers to ensure effective transfer of learning.

This role requires a master facilitator mindset, strong coaching skills, and 5+ years of training experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management, education, or related field, plus 5 years training facilitation experience.
• Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers.
• Professional coaching certification preferred.
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and operations technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor-led classes and specialty training assignments.
• Identify learning needs, prescribe, and deliver education and training plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education solutions using operational tools and reports.
• Lead and coordinate Train-the-Trainer workshops for Delivery team readiness.
• Mentor and coach Learning & Development Specialists and Sr. Specialists.
• Provide support to leadership across all regions; may assist international counterparts.
• Develop and present education strategies, proposals, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Work closely with instructional designers to promote deeper learning transfer.
• Lead and participate in committees or projects as assigned.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
