Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development leader to design and deliver education and training programs across districts and functions. You will consult with business partners, establish training priorities, and coordinate schedules to improve learning outcomes. You will mentor staff and partner with instructional designers to promote transfer of learning.

You will collaborate with leadership across regions, present strategies, and help shape development initiatives for senior teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resource management, education, or related field or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years' experience in training facilitation and coaching
• Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers
• Professional certification in coaching, leadership development or other related discipline (preferred)
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Operations technology systems
• Must be able to work with employees and management across all levels
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person instructor led classes and specialty training assignments
• Identify learning needs, prescribe, and deliver education and training plans
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education solutions as measured by operational tools and reports
• Lead and coordinate Train-the-Trainer workshops for Delivery team readiness
• Mentor and coach Learning & Development Specialists and Sr. Specialists
• Provide support to leadership level across all the regions
• Develop and present education strategies, proposals, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Work closely with instructional designers and developers, providing insight to promote deeper learning transfer
