Job summary

Santa Fe South Public Schools in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Director of Language Acquisition Services to lead multilingual learner programs district-wide. This exempt role focuses on accelerating language proficiency, improving academic growth, and ensuring equity for diverse learners.

The Director will partner with district leaders to implement high-quality instructional practices, data systems, and compliant student services, reporting to the Executive Director of Student Services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education is required.
• Valid OK Teacher Certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience with English learners.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative or supervisory experience leading language programs.
• Demonstrated track record of improving outcomes for multilingual students using data-driven methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership for language acquisition programs across the district.
• Evaluate and improve instructional practices for English learners and ensure equitable access.
• Collaborate with Academic Team to align language priorities with district goals.
• Lead professional development and coaching for EL teachers and staff.
• Oversee MTSS interventions and accommodations for multilingual learners.
