Job summary

Oklahoma City Public Schools is seeking an English Language Acquisition Specialist to enhance English Language Development programming. This role supports curriculum development and provides professional learning and coaching for educators to ensure effective instruction for English Learners.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with an ESL/Bilingual Education certification and have a strong understanding of instructional practices for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current Oklahoma teaching certificate with certification in ESL/Bilingual Education required.
• Master's Degree in ESL and/or Bilingual Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support English Language Development programming across assigned OKCPS schools.
• Facilitate ongoing professional learning for teachers and staff.
• Monitor program implementation and effectiveness.
