Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Supplier Operations & Governance in Austin, TX. You will lead the enterprise supplier governance framework, manage ASL, due diligence, compliance, and performance across the supplier base, and partner with Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, and Compliance to strengthen governance and continuity.

The role requires advanced knowledge of supplier management, qualification processes, and operational improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7–9 years in supplier management, qualification, or related operations.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience in supplier operations or procurement.
• Advanced knowledge of supplier management, qualification, and governance principles.
• Understanding of ASL management, onboarding, due diligence, and lifecycle processes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional supplier qualification and compliance activities.
• Proficiency with ERP and supplier management tools (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise supplier governance including ASL management and qualification standards.
• Coordinate onboarding, qualification, approval, and exit procedures with documented criteria.
• Oversee supplier due diligence, site assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Evaluate supplier certifications, regulatory obligations, and contractual requirements.
• Manage supplier risk assessments, CAPA tracking, and issue resolution with escalation as needed.
• Implement Grow, Sustain, Exit lifecycle framework and supplier segmentation.
• Analyze supplier performance: quality, on-time delivery, and capacity.
• Guide scorecard reviews, corrective actions, and supplier transitions.
• Develop governance procedures, internal controls, and performance measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align governance with business needs.
