Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Supplier Operations & Governance to lead the supplier governance program across ASL, qualification, risk, and performance. You will drive standardized onboarding, due diligence, and escalation procedures while partnering with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Compliance.

The role requires advanced knowledge of supplier governance, risk management, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on scalable processes and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7–9 years of supplier management, qualification, or governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL) with qualification standards and governance.
• Establish onboarding, qualification, approval, and exit procedures with documented criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional supplier approval reviews to reflect qualifications and risk assessments.
• Oversee supplier due diligence, site assessments, capability reviews, and readiness evaluations.
• Evaluate supplier certifications, regulatory obligations, and operational risks to flag compliance concerns.
• Direct supplier risk assessments, corrective action tracking, and issue resolution.
• Implement Grow, Sustain, and Exit lifecycle framework with segmentation and performance expectations.
• Analyze supplier performance: quality, OTD, responsiveness, capacity, risk.
• Guide scorecard reviews, corrective actions, and supplier transitions for continuity.
• Develop governance procedures, controls, and reporting for scalable execution.
• Evaluate cycle times, ASL accuracy, and compliance trends for improvements.
• Partner with Enterprise Systems to improve master data, ERP workflows, and governance.
• Lead supplier operations staff with priorities, resources, and coaching.
• Collaborate to align governance with business needs.
• Communicate performance, risks, and improvement recommendations to leadership.
