Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Supplier Operations & Governance to lead supplier qualification, ASL management, risk assessment, and governance across the supply base. The role collaborates with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Compliance to strengthen supplier reliability and drive performance improvements.

The position requires an experienced supply chain leader with deep knowledge of supplier management, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in supplier management or procurement.
• Experience leading supplier governance programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of ASL, supplier qualification, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze supplier performance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and govern the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL) and qualification standards.
• Coordinate onboarding, qualification, approval, and exit procedures with clear criteria.
• Lead cross-functional supplier reviews with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, and Compliance.
• Oversee due diligence, site assessments, and capability reviews.
• Evaluate supplier certifications, regulatory obligations, and risks.
• Direct supplier risk assessments and corrective action tracking.
• Implement Grow, Sustain, Exit supplier lifecycle framework.
• Analyze supplier performance including quality and on-time delivery.
• Guide supplier scorecard reviews and transition plans.
• Develop governance procedures, controls, and reporting measures.
• Assess ASL accuracy, qualification cycle times, and performance trends.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems to improve master data and ERP workflows.
• Lead supplier operations team with priorities and coaching.
• Align governance activities with business requirements across functions.
• Communicate performance and risk metrics to leadership.
