Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Manager, Supplier Operations & Governance to lead supplier qualification, ASL management, due diligence and risk controls across the supply base. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7–9 years in supplier management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL) and qualification standards.
• Establish onboarding, qualification, approval, and exit procedures with documented criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional supplier approval reviews with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Oversee supplier due diligence, site assessments, capability reviews, and operational readiness evaluations.
• Evaluate supplier certifications, regulatory obligations, contractual requirements, and operational risks.
• Direct supplier risk assessments, corrective action tracking, and issue resolution activities.
• Implement and manage the Grow, Sustain, and Exit supplier lifecycle framework.
• Analyze supplier performance involving quality, on-time delivery (OTD), responsiveness, capacity, and risk.
• Guide supplier scorecard reviews, development initiatives, corrective actions, and transitions.
• Develop supplier governance procedures, internal controls, and reporting methodologies.
• Evaluate qualification cycle times, ASL accuracy, compliance status, corrective action closure, and trends.
• Partner with Enterprise Systems to improve supplier master data and ERP workflows.
• Lead supplier operations personnel, coaching and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align governance with business needs.
• Communicate performance and risks to leadership.
