Job summary

Medica is a nonprofit health plan delivering care across Minnesota and beyond. We seek a senior leader to direct Leave and Disability Programs, overseeing FMLA, ADA accommodations, and state/local leaves while ensuring policy compliance and strong vendor partnerships.

You will guide the team, monitor metrics, and drive improvements that enhance employee experience and regulatory adherence across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in leave of absence, disability, or related employee programs.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, workers' compensation.
• Experience managing third-party administrators and vendor partnerships.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills with leaders and employees

Responsibilities

• Oversee leave of absence and disability programs.
• Lead leave administration team and vendor partnerships.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Compliance teams on leaves and risks
