Job summary

Medica, a nonprofit health plan serving Minnesota and beyond, seeks a Manager of Leaves and Disability Programs to lead strategic leave administration, disability management, and related program governance in a hybrid work model.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, vendor partnerships, and the employee experience across the leave lifecycle, collaborating with Legal, HR, and Compliance to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decisions that support workforce well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR/related field.
• 5+ years supporting leave of absence, disability, accommodations, or related programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, workers' comp, and state/local leaves.
• Experience managing third-party administrators and vendor partnerships.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills for leaders and employees.
