Qualifications

• 4-year degree required preferably in a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in law firm recruiting required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding candidates and Firm matters.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting and hiring processes for lateral paralegals and attorneys.
• Oversee preparation of associate job postings.
• Collaborate on diversity hiring trends to ensure diverse applicant pool.
• Provide updates on candidates to SBU leadership.
• Conduct market research on recruiting trends and compensation.
