K&L Gates seeks a seasoned Manager, Lateral Associate Recruiting to run end-to-end searches across U.S. practices. You will lead direct outreach, manage search firms, and serve as the primary contact for hiring partners on those searches.

You will shepherd searches, ensure timely delivery, and mentor coordinators, while aligning with practice priorities and market conditions to attract top legal talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of legal recruiting or related experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
• Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent searches and relationships.
• Experience managing search firm relationships and direct sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of legal talent markets and recruiting trends.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end lateral associate searches, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Manage search momentum, timelines, and coverage across practices and offices.
• Direct-outreach sourcing and building candidate pipelines ahead of postings.
• Oversee search firm engagement, scoping, submissions, and feedback.
• Deliver a professional candidate experience and provide updates to partners.
