Job summary

K&L Gates is recruiting for a Manager, Lateral Associate Recruiting to oversee end-to-end searches across U.S. practices. You will lead direct outreach, oversee search firm engagement, and act as the primary recruiting contact for hiring partners on assigned searches.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Associate and Entry-Level Recruiting, you will collaborate with Senior Managers, HR, and Practice Operations while supporting peak periods and US entry-level programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Seven years of legal recruiting or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lateral associate searches for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interview management, offer development, and handoff to onboarding.
• Lead direct-outreach sourcing and manage search firm engagement.
• Serve as primary recruiting contact for hiring partners on assigned searches.
• Maintain search momentum and provide status updates and market context.
