K&L Gates LLP is seeking a Manager, Lateral Associate Recruiting to lead end-to-end searches across the U.S. practices. The role directs direct-outreach sourcing, manages search firm engagement, and serves as the primary recruiting contact for hiring partners on those searches.

The Manager will own a portfolio of concurrent searches, ensuring momentum, equitable workload, and a superior candidate experience while collaborating with partners, HR, and practice operations.

Qualifikationen

• Seven years of legal recruiting or related experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience managing lateral associate or comparable professional-level searches.
• Demonstrated direct-sourcing capability with pipeline development.
• Experience managing search firm relationships and providing feedback.
• Strong understanding of legal talent markets and competition for talent.
• Ability to use data and market intelligence to inform strategy.
• Proven ability to build credibility with partners and candidates.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches across offices and practice areas.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end lateral searches for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding handoff.
• Lead direct-outreach sourcing and build candidate pipelines ahead of postings.
• Maintain search momentum and timeline discipline across portfolio of searches across practices and offices.
• Partner with Senior Managers, hiring partners, HR, and operations to align role requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Manage search firm engagement and provide feedback throughout submissions and evaluation.
• Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience and timely communications.
