Job summary

Global Law Firm's offices in New York, Washington, D.C., and Chicago seek a senior legal recruiter to lead lateral associate hiring for corporate practice groups. You will partner with practice and office leadership to understand needs and craft tailored recruiting plans.

You will manage the end-to-end search, advise on market dynamics, source candidates directly and via search firms, and develop the recruiting team while reporting progress to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in legal recruiting with lateral associate focus.
• 2+ years managing or leading teams or projects.
• Strong knowledge of lateral attorney recruiting and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders and work across organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tailored lateral associate recruiting strategies for corporate practice groups.
• Lead lateral associate searches from planning to offers and hiring.
• Provide market intelligence and guidance throughout the search process.
• Identify candidates via sourcing, referrals, search firms, and other channels.
• Manage relationships with search firms and vendors, including fee negotiation.
• Develop recruiting team members and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
