Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Minnesota is seeking an energetic Business Developer to grow our commercial landscape management, landscape construction, and snow removal services across the state. The role focuses on building relationships with decision-makers and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.

You will meet property owners, managers, and contractors in the field, develop proposals in collaboration with operations teams, and maintain an active pipeline to meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal opportunities
• Build strong relationships with property managers, owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other commercial decision-makers
• Prospect through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events, and other business development activities
• Conduct site visits and meet with prospective customers to understand their needs
• Develop proposals, estimates, and presentations in partnership with operations and estimating teams
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue and activity goals
• Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat and referral business
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing customers
