DJ's Landscape Management in Hastings, MN is seeking a dynamic Business Developer to grow our commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal services across Minnesota. This role emphasizes field engagement, meeting decision-makers, and turning relationships into lasting partnerships.

You will work with property managers, owners, and general contractors to identify opportunities, present proposals, and close deals, while maintaining a robust sales pipeline and expanding existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial landscaping, snow removal, or related industries.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Comfortable networking, cold outreach, and generating leads.
• Confident presenting proposals and meeting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal opportunities.
• Build relationships with property managers, owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Prospect via networking, referrals, cold outreach, events, and other BD activities.
• Conduct site visits to understand client needs and develop proposals with operations/estimating teams.
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet revenue and activity goals.
• Develop long-term relationships leading to repeat/referral business.
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing customers.
