Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a dynamic Business Developer to expand our commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal services across Minnesota. This role blends field interaction with strategic lead generation, meeting property managers and decision-makers to grow long-term partnerships.

You’ll build proposals with operations, manage a healthy pipeline, travel across service areas, and help shape growth in a casual, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial landscaping or related industry preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Able to generate leads, network, and cold-call
• Able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal opportunities
• Build relationships with property managers, owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other decision-makers
• Develop proposals, estimates, and presentations with operations and estimating teams
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue and activity goals
• Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat and referral business
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing customers
• Stay informed about local market conditions, competitors, pricing, and industry trends
• Work closely with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service
