Job summary

ERM is hiring Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the United States to support pipeline and electric transmission project efforts. ROW Agents will handle the acquisition of land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits and other documents necessary for construction, operation and maintenance of facilities, with 100% travel.

These revolving/on-going positions are filled on an as-needed basis for specific projects.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
3–6 years of ROW experience.
Solid knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, ArcGIS.
Knowledge of real estate values and appraisal practices.
Ability to work in remote locations for long periods.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
Must meet criteria identified in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.

Responsibilities

Negotiate with land owners to acquire land rights.
Settle complex damage claims related to construction.
Search records to determine property ownership and interests.
Advise on fair market values for land acquisitions.
Prepare documents for rights of entry, easements, leases, permits and other documents.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
