Job summary

ERM is seeking Right of Way (ROW) Agents across multiple locations in the United States to support pipeline and electric transmission project efforts. The role involves acquiring land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other documents for project needs. This is a field-based position with 100% travel.

ROW positions are revolving and filled on an as-needed basis for upcoming projects. A strong emphasis is placed on negotiations, records research, and preparing rights-related documents.

Qualifications

• Negotiate with land owners (or their designees).
• Explain and settle complex damage claims relating to property during construction.
• Search records to determine current ownership interests.
• Provide ranges for fair market values for land acquisitions.
• Prepare documents for rights of entry, easements, leases, and permits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with land owners.
• Work on settlement of complex damage claims with land owners.
• Search courthouse and other records to determine present property ownership.
• Advise on fair market values for land acquisition.
• Draft/ supervise documents for rights of entry, easements, licenses, leases, permits.
• Comply with health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
