Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, or closely related field.
• Four years of professional level analytic and/or administrative experience.
• Master's Degree substituted for one year of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Survey other employers regarding pay and benefits as part of labor relations responsibilities.
• Attend labor negotiation sessions, draft proposals/correspondence, and perform cost analysis of proposals.
• Research, interpret, and analyze labor contracts; process and respond to grievances.
• Participate in labor-management committee meetings.
• Conduct investigations involving allegations of employee misconduct; write investigative reports.
• Assist departments with the disciplinary process and advise supervisors on performance issues.
• Develop, revise, and interpret employee-related policies; give oral presentations to groups on employee relations issues.
