Job summary

Appvion is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to strengthen organizational capability by building practical learning programs, certification resources, and talent management processes that help team members and leaders understand expectations, grow in their roles, and work more effectively together.

The role emphasizes building and sustaining learning programs, using LMS/HRIS systems, and guiding adoption across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in HR, OD, business, education, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive learning & development experience including leadership development.
• Experience with LMS, HRIS, or related tech.
• Strong communication, facilitation, PM, and stakeholder skills.
• Up to 20% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage learning programs and resources.
• Organize certification resources and related tools in appropriate systems.
• Identify and address adoption barriers and system gaps with urgency.
• Provide leaders with clear goals, check-ins, and talent-management guidance.
