Job summary

Avnet, a Fortune 500 technology distributor, is seeking a strategic learning professional to shape how Avnet grows its people. This role sits within the global Talent Center of Expertise and drives L&D initiatives across the Americas while aligning with HR and business partners.

You will diagnose organizational needs, translate priorities into practical solutions, and influence stakeholders from frontline staff to senior leaders.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and program evaluation.
Experience in leadership development, career development and succession planning.
Familiarity with 360-degree feedback and DISC/Korn Ferry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess capability needs with HR and leaders to translate priorities into learning solutions.
Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs including onboarding and leadership development.
Manage curriculum governance, ensuring content stays current and compliant.
Decide whether to use existing curricula, create new content, or source external offerings, including AI.
Lead regional/global projects and drive ROI in learning initiatives.
