Job summary

The MEC team in Compton, CA is seeking a commercially focused logistics professional to hunt new business with healthy margins while growing key accounts globally.

You will coordinate bid requests, design client-specific SOPs, manage service delivery with local operations, and ensure timely billing and KPI performance across air/ocean freight, trucking, customs, and project management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

• Maintain relationships with the customer and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and handle bid requests.
• Understand operational needs and provide innovative logistics solutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate administrative processes while managing multiple projects.
• Design, offer, sell and implement logistics solutions for client problems.
• Follow up and manage customer inquiries; coordinate communication with local operation teams.
• Define and help implement client-specific SOPs and ensure adherence across the organization.
• Identify root causes and resolve service irregularities with origin/destination stations.
• Manage claims with customers and internal teams; monitor performance and billing.
• Collaborate globally to meet KPIs and MEC performance metrics.
