Job summary

Kimball Midwest in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Key Account Executive to drive growth for large multi-location accounts in a hybrid role with local sales representatives. You will develop strategic relationships, identify opportunities, and expand the customer base across the territory.

The first-year compensation ranges from $65,000 to $105,000, including commissions (0–12%), mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, life, disability, 401k, deferred compensation).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of strategic selling experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory and maintain required insurance.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory, along with the local sales team, to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential large customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Market Knowledge: Demonstrate our products to potential customers to show the value and quality of our products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in our training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
