Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Key Account Executive to lead outside sales development and growth for independent dealerships. You will manage a dedicated book of business, drive acquisition, and coach best practices to maximize revenue.

You will cultivate long-term partnerships, own client success, and represent OPENLANE in a fast-paced market while delivering superior service and measurable results.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2 years of outside sales or business development experience.
• 2-3+ years in a customer-focused or account-management role.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and connect with dealerships for business development and portfolio expansion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients within your assigned book of business.
• Facilitate seamless communication across departments to provide efficient solutions to client issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Document all customer interactions in our CRM.
• Adapt to changing priorities and provide support in unexpected situations.
• Travel within the assigned region roughly 50% of the time.
