Job summary

Norwest Christian College is seeking a Learning Enrichment Coordinator to provide strategic and practical leadership across our learning enrichment programs. You will work with staff, students and families to support excellent learning outcomes and ensure students with diverse needs are supported.

The role involves leading a team, developing individual learning plans, and coordinating the NCCD process while aligning with the College’s mission and faith-based approach.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary education relevant to Learning Support or experience with students with additional needs.
• Two years’ classroom teaching experience in primary and/or secondary settings.
• Experience leading or managing a team, or potential to grow into leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Disability Standards for Education and NCCD processes.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning Enrichment Team to support teachers in meeting the needs of students with diverse learning.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans with staff, students and families.
• Oversee the implementation of Learning Enrichment policies and programs.
• Supervise learning support plans and ensure consistent processes across K-12.
• Review learning and wellbeing data and advise leadership and teaching teams.
• Contribute to enrolment processes by analysing learning support data and participating in interviews.
• Coordinate the College’s NCCD process.
