Qualifications

• Formal tertiary education in Special Education or equivalent.
• Experience supporting primary/secondary students with additional needs.
• Ability to form positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with technology.
• Knowledge of the Disability Standards for Education.
• Excellent time management.
• Commitment to professional learning and growth.
• Ability to reflect Christian faith in practice.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional learning needs through individual and small-group instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare resources and assist with classroom activities.
• Provide pastoral, wellbeing and personal-care support to students.
• Help students participate safely in playground activities, events, excursions and camps.
• Model the College’s Christian values and build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
