The role oversees IT project portfolio, manages cross-functional teams, mentors staff, and partners with vendors to deliver high-quality solutions while advancing change management and stakeholder communication.

Experience managing IT Projects in a nonprofit environment.
Proven ability to manage IT Vendors (Salesforce/Nimble and Higher Logic) & contract staff.
Experience effectively managing RFP process for IT solutions.
Experience implementing COTS & SaaS solutions.
Experience with multiple project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
Strong Time Management, Organization and Execution Skills.
Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Strong collaboration skills required to effectively work across a diverse group including executives, managers, and SMEs.
Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to understand/dissect organizational culture and tailor communication and processes to successfully navigate the same.
5+ years of IT experience.
5+ years of IT project management experience of increasing project size and complexity.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the successful delivery of IT projects across both business-facing and internal technology portfolios, measured by adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
Owns the strategic oversight of the IT project portfolio, including program interdependencies, scope management, risk mitigation, communication strategies, procurement coordination, and resource allocation.
Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the team’s enterprise project management suites, ClickUp and SharePoint.
Leads regular IT project portfolio reviews and governance forums to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Manages and executes key IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and delivery.
Focuses on delivering IT solutions that drive business value, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related activities.
Integrates organizational change management practices into all IT initiatives to support user adoption and positive outcomes.
Manages and mentors internal and external IT project team members, including business analysts, developers, and vendors.
Partners with developers and vendors to remove obstacles and deliver high quality solutions.
