Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Project Manager – Spend Optimization Services to lead the day-to-day execution of customer engagements from initiation to closure.

You will manage scope, schedules, risks, and communications, ensuring delivery aligned with SHI standards and client objectives, while coordinating with internal delivery teams. Based in part in Austin, TX with travel as needed, the role requires 4+ years of IT project management, Agile/Hybrid delivery experience, and strong

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT project management experience in professional services or IT delivery.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, and budget across multiple engagements.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery and Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of assigned engagements from initiation through closure.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and docs.
• Drive team accountability and manage dependencies and action items.
• Escalate blockers and decisions requiring leadership input.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams, partners.
• Own project communications: status updates, decisions, risks, actions.
• Facilitate kickoff sessions, status reviews, and follow-up discussions.
• Monitor engagement health and identify risks early.
• Support engagement financial management: forecasting, tracking, cost impacts.
• Manage scope changes per governance processes.
• Lead corrective action plans and recovery activities.
• Apply PMO methodologies and governance consistently.
• Contribute to PMO improvements and onboarding.
