Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Spend Optimization Services to lead complex, high-visibility engagements from initiation through closure. Based in Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ, you will coordinate cross-functional teams and executives, ensuring alignment with objectives and SHI delivery standards.

You will mentor Project Managers, manage governance and risks, and drive improvement across programs while traveling up to 50% to client sites and SHI offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience in SAM/ITAM, software licensing, or related service delivery environments.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive-level customer leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-visibility engagements from initiation to closure, ensuring outcomes align with objectives and contractual obligations.
• Establish strategy, governance, milestones, dependencies, and communication plans for engagements.
• Mentor Project Managers and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution.
• Deliver executive-level status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to leadership.
• Drive governance, risk management, and continuous improvement across programs.
