A.B. Data in Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee the help desk and IT operations, drive policy development, and align IT initiatives with business goals. The role focuses on delivering reliable services, strong governance, and customer-focused support.

You’ll manage daily IT operations, vendor relationships, budgeting, and staff development while promoting security, efficiency, and strategic thinking. Hybrid work is available 1–2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Five years of relevant IT support work experience.
• Three years managing direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee help desk and IT operations teams; enforce policies and measure performance.
• Assist VP of IT in developing IT policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage daily IT operations to maintain system integrity, security, and availability.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT issues; foster customer-focused help desk culture.
• Identify opportunities for IT enhancements and prioritize projects.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and track IT assets.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities for IT staff.
• Assist in budgeting and cost forecasting for the IT department.
